YEP is excited to announce that Denise Ruzicka, Chairman of LEP Board and Kim Maiorano, LEP Program Coordinator from the DEEP will be giving a presentation on DEEP’s application process and common mistakes. The duo will then stick around for a short Q&A session following the presentation. Specifically, the presentation will cover the following topics:

  • Overview of purpose and structure of LEP Board.
  • Discussion of exam application review process noting minimum qualifications needed to be seated for the exam, common problems with applications, and time frame needed for review.
  • Overview of topic areas that are included in the exam.
  • Brief discussion of disciplinary process and role of LEP Board following license issuance.

We will then proceed to the LEP Q&A where LEP members will answer further questions and give valuable insight such as the biggest challenges they experienced in becoming an LEP, how much time they committed to the application process and studying for the exam, and what life is like after the exam!

We look forward to seeing you all there!
