EPOC's Young Environmental Professions group (YEP) is excited to announce the next study group session (the last one before the 2017 exam) to be held on Wednesday May 3rd, 2017 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. The session will be moderated by Robert Potterton, Licensed Environmental Professional with Fuss and O’Neill, and the focus will be on a last minute hydrology review! However, Bob will be available to answer questions on any topic. Light food and drinks will be provided. The session is open to all YEP members at no fee, not just those taking the exam this year! Feel free to come and listen or participate and ask questions.

Moderator: Robert Potterton
Mr. Potterton is experienced in all aspects of hydrogeologic investigation ranging from water supply studies to soil and groundwater investigation and remediation. His experience includes directing investigatory and remedial efforts at numerous Superfund, RCRA Corrective Action and Property Transfer Act sites under both state and Federal regulatory programs. His clients have included numerous fortune 100 companies. He has served on various technical advisory committees at the request of the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CTDEEP) including those involved in the original drafting and proposed revisions to Connecticut's Remediation Standard Regulations (RSRs). He also served for over ten years on the Board of Directors of the Environmental Professionals Organization of Connecticut, the organization that represents Licensed Environmental Professionals (LEPs) in Connecticut, and was president of the organization from 2004 to 2006. In December 2009, he was appointed by Governor Jodi Rell to the Board of Examiners of Environmental Professionals, which administers the LEP Program on behalf of the State of Connecticut. He retired from his position as a Senior Vice President at Fuss & O’Neill, Inc. in 2013 after 35 years of experience and now serves as the Senior Technical Advisor – Hydrogeology at Fuss & O’Neill, Inc., primarily providing senior level reviews and litigation support to various clients.
