Course Review:
This workshop will explore how to understand the quality control reports that come with every laboratory report and how it affects the usability of the data, all while enjoying cocktails from Brewport!
The workshop will focus on beginning to intermediate level Data Quality Assessment concepts along with a general discussion regarding Quality Control technical reports including but not limited to the Connecticut RCP protocol. These concepts are important for all staff levels because evaluating the usability of the data provided in laboratory reports requires a thorough understanding of the quality of the analytical data provided by the laboratory.
We will concentrate on understanding data qualifiers (QC non-conformances) which help in understanding the uncertainty associated with the data for all types of decision making, while giving you better insight of the data limitations as decisions are made.
