LEP Exam Study Group: Hydrogeology Review

Date and Time: Tuesday, April 23rd, 5:45 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.

Location: GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., 95 Glastonbury Boulevard, 3rd Floor, Glastonbury, CT.  NOTE: New address for GZA.

Space is limited and registration is required. 

This session is available to EPOC members only at no fee. 

NOTE: This course does not provide any continuing education credits (CECs) for LEPs.

EPOC's Young Environmental Professions group (YEP) is excited to announce the next study group session for the 2019 exam to be held on Tuesday April 23, 2019 from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m. The session will be moderated by David Terry, Licensed Environmental Professional with GEI, and the focus will be on hydrogeology. However, David will be available to answer questions on any topic. Light food and drinks will be provided. The session is open to all YEP members at no fee, not just those taking the exam this year! Feel free to come and listen or participate and ask questions.

Moderator:

David Terry is a CT LEP, Vice President, Principal at GEI Consultants, Inc., and is the Branch Manager of the GEI Glastonbury, CT office. He holds a Bachelors in Geology from SUNY Geneseo with a focus on isotope geochemistry and a Masters in Geology from Kansas State University, where his thesis focused on hydrogeology and the chemical and isotopic origins of groundwater in the Dakota Aquifer. Mr. Terry has been a practicing environmental consultant for 29 years and has focused his career on complex hydrogeology and DNAPL investigation and remediation projects throughout the Northeast and mid-Atlantic states. Currently, Mr. Terry is a client manager for GEI’s utility environmental clients and has been engaged in CERCLA sediment investigation and remediation planning and design on behalf of his utility clients.
