LEP Exam Study Group: Contaminant Fate and Transport
Date and Time: Thursday, May 4th, 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Location: This class will be available online through Zoom. Once you register, a link to access the presentation will be provided. Space is limited and registration is required.
This session is available to EPOC members only at no fee.
NOTE: This course does not provide any continuing education credits (CECs) for LEPs.
EPOC's Young Environmental Professions group (YEP) is excited to announce the final study group session for the 2023 exam to be held on Thursday May 4, 2023 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. through remote access. The session will be moderated by
Adam Henry, Licensed Environmental Professional with GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., and the focus will be on Contaminant Fate and Transport. However, Adam will be available to answer questions on any topic. The session is open to all YEP members at no fee, not just those taking the exam this year! Feel free to come and listen or participate and ask questions.

Moderator:
Adam Henry is an Associate Principal with GZA and has been a Licensed Environmental Professional since 2007 and a Licensed Professional Geologist (TN) since 2005. Adam has over twenty years of experience with environmental site assessments, investigations, and remediation on various types of properties ranging from commercial establishments to existing and abandoned industrial facilities. Within Connecticut, many of those sites were regulated under the Connecticut Transfer Act Program and Adam’s experience includes filing and verifying sites under Forms I, II, III and IV. Adam regularly works with parties to transfers and their counsels to advise them on potential costs and liabilities associated with Transfer Act compliance. Adam’s experience also includes serving as an expert witness on litigation matters involving the Transfer Act. Adam is a geologist and received his BS from the University of New Hampshire and MS from Virginia Tech.
