EPOC/YEP is pleased to announce the following upcoming program:

All About PCBs!

All About PCBs!

EPOC's Young Environmental Professions group (YEP) is excited to announce an in-person educational event at the ZUVIC Inc. offices in Rocky Hill, CT with a presentation by Tory Man from ZUVIC. Tory will provide a summary overview of topics related to polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). Topics to be discussed will include:

  • TSCA regulations- including a summary of recent changes
  • CTDEEP regulations
  • TSCA sampling requirements  
  • PCB remediation case studies

This event is free to all EPOC members. Spots are limited and registration is required. Food and drinks will be provided by ZUVIC during the event. For information about joining EPOC, CLICK HERE. NOTE: This course does not provide any continuing education credits (CECs) for LEPs.

NOTE: This event is geared towards young environmental professionals and will provide a brief overview of PCBs.

Speakers:

Victoria (Tory) Man is the Director of Environmental Services at ZUVIC Inc. and has been with the company for about 14 years. Tory has more than 30 years of experience as an environmental consultant and has been a Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) since the first roster was issued in 1997. Tory has a degree in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Connecticut and worked in environmental laboratories during the beginning of her career, transitioning to environmental consulting in the late 1980s. Her work focusses on site assessments and remediation, hazardous building materials and PCBs in the environment and building materials.
